An LED output is shown on G0. Outputs can sink or source up to 25mA, so output drivers would be required for motors and high-current outputs.

The voltage supply Vs should be 2.3V–5.5V.

An eight-pin microcontroller has five pins available for inputs and outputs. One pin must be an input; the others can be configured to be inputs or outputs. The chip type and set-up for inputs and outputs are selected by the PC editor.

For the CW Genie editor, a typical pin designation is shown in Figure 7.5.
