Instructions
Toast oats in oil in a saucepan for a couple of minutes.
Add water and milk and bring it to a boil before letting it simmer.
Mix in the spices, salt, and maple and cook for about 8 minutes or until the oats are cooked to preference.
Taste and adjust sweet, and flavors as desired then let it cool to thicken. You can serve warm or chilled.
Garnish with strawberries, dried fruit or chia seeds.
