“Ok, Mr and Mrs Jones, you have a double room on the top floor. You’re in the Daffodil suite.” The huge male receptionist told Beau and handed him a key.

Both she and Beau both blushed at the married reference but neither bothered to correct him.

Anna felt a paranormal vibe coming from the hulk of a man and thought he may be a shifter of some sort. From the size of him he was probably a wolf or a bear maybe? She thought to herself.

“Thank you.” Beau took the key and led the way to the stairs.

He carried both of their bags up the three flights of bare wooden stairs until they reached the top. Anna admired the intricate carvings of flowers along the banisters and the spindles of the stairs.

There were only two doors up there; one labelled Lilac and one Daffodil.

Anna followed Beau who had stopped by a white door with a beautiful yellow daffodil painted around eyeline level in the centre of it.

He swiped the key card, waiting for the light to turn green and stepped aside for Anna to enter first.

“This is beautiful. Do we really have to leave the room?” Anna breathed, as she took in her opulent surroundings. She took a few more steps into the room so that she could see all of the angles.
