Chapter Eight

Josiah was nervous. He wanted to do this, but it was the first time for him, and Luther’s touch made him want to wiggle.

Luther continued kissing his way down Josiah’s naked back. He stopped as he reached Josiah’s ass, gently squeezing it and opening the cheeks. Josiah swallowed.

“We don’t have to do this if you don’t want to or if you’re not ready,” Luther murmured against Josiah’s skin.

“I want to. I’m just nervous.”

“Remember that you just have to say the word, and I’ll stop.”

“I know.” That was one of the reasons Josiah wanted to do this with Luther.

Since they’d first kissed the other day, they’d been spending as much time together as possible. It meant a lot of kissing and sex, but this was the first time Josiah was going to let Luther fuck him. He wanted it, more than anything he could think of, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t nervous. He would be nervous with anyone. It was his first time, and he realized that wanting it to be perfect was stupid. That wasn’t what he expected. He just wasn’t sure what to expect, which made him anxious.

Luther kissed one of Josiah’s ass cheeks, then the other. He’d already stretched him, driving him crazy as he did so, and Josiah had been able to forget what was about to happen until now. It had been easy to allow Luther to play with his body, to drive him wild with need. The need was still there, under his skin, making him want to be filled. It was a strange sensation he wasn’t used to, and he couldn’t help but wonder if things would be different if he was with someone else.

He was falling in love with Luther. He couldn’t deny that, and he didn’t want to. He also didn’t want to think about it right now. He wanted to lose himself in Luther’s body, so he wiggled his ass, hoping it was enticing.

Luther smiled against it. Josiah could feel it. Then Luther straightened, and Josiah swallowed.

“Are you sure you want to do it in this position?” Luther asked. He was still stroking Josiah’s skin.

“I’m sure.” On all fours maybe wasn’t the perfect first time when you were in love with the person you were with, but Josiah was afraid of what Luther would see in his expression if they were face to face. He wanted to be able to hide it, whatever happened. Besides, he didn’t mind feeling like Luther was in power. He wasn’t enjoying being in charge, at least not in the bedroom—not all the time. He had enough of that in his role as alpha.

“All right.” Luther kissed the middle of Josiah’s back.

He didn’t ask Josiah if he was sure again. Instead, Josiah felt him move, then something hard pushed against his entrance. He sucked in a breath, but Luther didn’t push in like Josiah expected him to. Instead, he continued stroking Josiah’s body, softly talking to him until Josiah relaxed. Only then did Luther push in, and even though it hurt, Josiah was happy.
