Pleasing the Lord

What Christian doesn’t want to please God? As Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). How can you show your love for Christ? Aren’t you continually in awe that the God of the universe indwells you and gives you guidance for every action when you submit your will to Him? I am! So go to the place you know—God’s presence—and embrace the joy of your salvation.

Lord, I’m filled with awe because You are faithful and all-powerful. Joy springs up in my heart today because I know Your commands and am experiencing Your love. I gladly follow You with all my heart. Amen.
