Dickey’s Dreamland Ballroom, at 116 1/2 West Sixth Street, was managed by Robert R. Dickey. The location later housed the Recreation Bowling Lanes. This photograph was taken in 1929.

The North Platte Floral Company, pictured in this 1929 photograph at 1016 West Twelfth Street, was owned and operated by Emil and Helen Merscheid.

Harry and Clara Dixon ran the Dixon Jewelry Store, located at 518 North Dewey.

The North Platte Bakery, famous for its Butterfly bread, sat at 110 East Sixth Street. Tolle and Seiler were the bakery’s proprietors. This photo was taken in 1929.
