J.R. felt like he was going crazy. His schedule had slowed down tremendously since he had finished up his tour. J.R. always took some time off after he toured. It helped to rest his mind and body so he could prepare for his next album. But weeks had gone by and J.R. was still hurting from the way Farrah had deaded things between them before they even started. He promised he’d respect her wishes and leave her alone, but at the time he said it, he didn’t think it would be this hard. J.R. didn’t even understand why he was so distraught over this situation. He was used to just walking away from girls and not catching feelings. It was like Farrah had a spell over him and he just couldn’t make any sense out of it.

What didn’t make the transition any easier was how the paparazzi and magazine bloggers kept hounding him by asking questions about what was going on between him and Farrah Mills. Everywhere he went he would see the now-infamous picture of them kissing on stage plastered all over the front pages of magazines and newspapers. Word around the inside celebrity circuit was that her and Corey Mills were still married, but weren’t on speaking terms. As messed up as it sounded, J.R. was happy to hear Farrah and her husband weren’t talking. It was like music to his ears.

Not that J.R. was wishing anything bad upon Farrah or her marriage, but to know that she and her husband weren’t on great terms meant that he still had that little window of opportunity to open. He just had to figure out how to slip in and take her for himself. And especially after he did some digging on this BMX rider Corey Mills, he definitely didn’t feel bad if they were heading for divorce.

From what he found out, this dude Corey had been dogging Farrah out from jump. This guy had Farrah as the side chick in the beginning, then made her the main chick and married her. Didn’t sound too bad, if it wasn’t for the fact that somewhere between them getting back together and getting married, he got his ex pregnant! This was all hearsay to J.R., though. It’s not like he had any proof that everything he’d heard was truth, but if any of it was true, he’d be doing Farrah a favor by breaking up her marriage to this asshole. There’s no way he would ever do her grimy like that.

“J.R., the game is over. Are you okay? It’s like you’re here but your head is someplace else,” Lizzy asked, tugging on his arm.

“Nah, I’m cool. I was just thinking about some stuff I have to take care of,” he responded. “You ready to go? We’re supposed to go meet up with some of the players and their girls for some food and drinks.”

“Oh. Okay. Ready whenever you are,” Lizzy said, grabbing her sweater.

Right now, Lizzy felt like she was in a dream.
