“Kayla, I have tried to keep you away from stuff like this. If you are going to cheat on your husband, never cheat with someone close to him. It will always backfire. I did not raise you like this. I can’t believe you are spreading your legs for both of them. I never liked them Parker boys.” Diana was in full mommy mode as she verbally chastised Kayla for her adulterous behavior. Kayla listened. She knew she was in trouble and needed her mother’s help. If anyone could get away with murder, Kayla knew Diana could. Hell, she had done it before.

“I will have the money wired to your account from one of the offshores accounts. You will then show Brent that you have the money. When you go to the bank, take him with you. I want him to think the whole transaction is legit. Ask for the bank manager, Richard Sumlin. It will appear as if he is withdrawing the money from your account but he will really be rerouting the money back into my account. The cash he will give you will be counterfeit money. Give Brent the bank receipt and the counterfeit money and leave.”

Kayla listened to her mother’s instruction closely. Her momma was a damn criminal mastermind in stiletto heels. “Kayla, I hate that you have gotten yourself in this mess. But I have always told you no one will ever get away with messing with my baby. I do not play about you girl, or this active little person in here.” Diana rubbed her belly, in hopes to settle her newest creation down.

“I know Momma, I was stupid.”

“Never call yourself stupid. You are young and will make mistakes. Clearly, your momma is still making mistakes too,” Diana laughed pointing to her belly.

The front door chimed, alerting them to cease this conversation. Tyra came in with Jasper and baby Karrina in tow. “Hey Kayla, good to see you.” Jasper hugged Kayla and went over to pat Diana’s belly and give her a kiss.

“Hey Jasper, I see y’all been out shopping, anything for me?” Kayla giggled.

“Girl no, nothing for me either, everything is for Princess Karrina,” Tyra laughed.

“Yea, Papa can’t help it. This one baking is going to be rotten too.”

It was undeniable Diana and Jasper made a nice looking couple. They had real good chemistry. When they were together you saw love. Diana looked so beautiful pregnant. Her baby bump was beginning to show. “Everyone keeps asking about a baby shower. I tell them to donate to a charity because Jasper has nearly bought everything this baby will ever need and more.” Diana smiled and patted Jasper on the back.

Karrina began to cry and Tyra excused herself. “What do you want for dinner Jasper? Kayla, are you staying?” Diana asked.

“No Momma, I need to get back to Ja’ Shawn. Thank you for your help.” Kayla walked over and hugged Diana and rubbed on her belly.

“Help me up so I can walk you to the door.” Diana laughed reaching for Kayla’s hand.
