Browsing by Genre

Unless you have very diverse musical tastes, you will probably be happier if you browse the Zune Marketplace by music genre. That way you can filter the browsing results based on your musical tastes. To browse by music Genre, follow these steps:

1. Press the Start button.

2. Tap the Marketplace tile.

3. Tap Music.

4. Flick the screen to the right until you reach the Genre page.

5. Tap your genre of choice.

It’s Not All Good

Although Windows Phone gives you many different music genres to choose from, not all genres are represented. For example, heavy metal, bluegrass, and opera are all missing from the list.
