devour the dross,

gobble the loss and scoff the whole lot.

Let all the yester-fears disappear.

Yes, I know it sounds easier said than done.

But Destroyer unleashed on the old is fun!

Getting undone so the new can become the begun.

Goodness, I think quietly to myself, does this poet-Goddess really have to drip herself into every occasion? I want to back away. I want to hide – again. But it seems She has more in mind than a few drips.
