Weeks went by and I saw Quinn getting dressed for church and asked her about the guy. She said his name was Dexter, but she wasn’t sure how old he was. I decided to go to church with her so I could get more information about this mystery guy. I called my grandma up and told her that I’d be going to church this Sunday with her and Quinn, she was happy and didn’t mind at all. I kind of felt awkward that I was going to church just to meet a guy; but I had to see what would happen.

We arrived at church early that beautiful bright Sunday morning before the main sermon began; my grandma liked to get there early to go to bible study. I had planned my outfit out the night before, it was a church that preached that you should come as you are, and many of the young people wore jeans. So I put on my tight blue jean capris that I knew made my butt look nice, and a cute black shirt, and of course I accessorized. My heart beat fast as we walked up the three big concrete church steps and opened the big red door to enter; I was nervous that people would judge me. When we go in there and I looked around and saw the beautiful wood finish on the pews and all the programs laid out nicely on tables filled covered with fancy fabric, my heart slowed down a little. It was a small church, and we got there early so people were just splitting off into groups. Quinn and I were sent off to separate groups that were age appropriate.
