Ria loved the way Marcus handled her with his abrasive hands. He stroked her with measured caresses that made her feline purr in enjoyment and her tail lazily swish. He shaped her breasts and sucked on her nipples, the wondrous sensations drifting downward until the place between her legs moistened and tingled. Marcus swapped from breast to breast while she held him close, glorying in his solid weight.

After long moments where she turned to soft mush, he moved farther down her body and parted her legs. Cool air contrasted with the heat of her flesh, and her heart thumped louder. Faster. Marcus glanced up at her and grinned as if pleased with her response. Could he hear her pulse? It was deafening. And purrs kept vibrating up her throat because his presence brought excitement and happiness.

He drew a fingertip up the inside of her thigh, and that touch leaped over her body, that one caress hitting every inch of her skin.

“Are you ready?” His voice was husky, and his eyes sparkled with humor.

Ready for what, she wanted to ask, then he dragged his finger higher across soft, damp flesh. That fingertip traced back and forth, and the sensations that raced through her were magical.

“More,” she pleaded.

“You like that.”

“Yes.” She almost cried when he lifted his finger away, and she opened her mouth to protest.

“Shush, sweetheart,” he whispered. “You’ll like this, I promise.”

And he slid his hands under her butt and lifted her. He licked the flesh he’d touched mere seconds ago. The lap of his tongue was light, and it danced across her skin, firing sensitive nerve endings to life. He concentrated on a tender spot, and decadent pleasure shot through her. A purr emerged from deep in her throat—one sound that meant she was thrilled. Marcus continued to lick her, but he also slid a finger inside her, and these sensations combined until everything contracted into a tight ball. An instant later, that mass exploded, and her body pulsed in time with her rumbling breaths.

Marcus pulled back to study her. She felt the weight of his stare and realized she’d closed her eyes. She opened them and met his sparkling gaze and bright smile.

“How was that?” He released her hips and let her drop to the mattress. Another purr escaped her.

“I liked it, but I thought there was more.”

“There is,” Marcus said. “Are you ready for me to show you now?”

“Yes.” And she was excited about it. While she’d seen other men in the town, not one of them had tempted her to try the situations she’d witnessed on TV. Until Marcus.

“Right then. Lie on your back. Yes, like that. Now, part your legs for me. Ria?”

“Yes.” Her gaze shot to his face.

“If you want me to stop, all you need to do is tell me. Or if I do anything you don’t like, let me know, and I’ll stop.”

He was more powerful than her but didn’t frighten her. Everything about Marcus appealed to her—his wolfish scent, his appearance, his smile, and his honest eyes.
