Friends Or Friends With Benefits?
Today Rambo and Nisha’s parents were going to meet so they all could start planning their prom. Everyone had an extravagant idea but they all needed to come together as one. Nisha told her mom all about Rambo and she kind of liked him.
“There’s no kind of Nisha either you like the boy or you don’t,” her mother Lanae said.
“I like him,” she lowly said.
“What are you embarrassed of girl?” her mother asked then the doorbell rung.
“They’re here,” she squealed. She didn’t know why she’s so nervous but she was losing it. She just hoped that her mom liked Rambo and Cree because if she didn’t then their little ‘situationship’ would have to be over.
“Hey you guys,” Nisha said when she answered the door and hugged them.
“Wassup,” Rambo said walking in. He too was nervous to meet her mom. He knew it was different when meeting the girl’s parents.
“You guys this is my mom Lanae and mom this Deshaun and Cree.”
“Nice to meet you,” her mom smiled and seemed to be cool. They all went onto the patio to discuss their plans.
Rambo and Nisha already put Cree up on game with her mom. She’s aware to not say anything about the night Rambo was jumped. That was a top top secret that only Cree could know.
“Kenisha you and Deshaun go in the kitchen and get us something to drink,” Lanae said.
Nisha did what her mom said and went into the kitchen with Rambo. He followed behind Nisha into the kitchen and when he did he pulled her into a hug. He hasn’t seen her in a few days because she said she was busy so he missed her but they kept in touch.
“Damn I missed you,” he said.
She hugged him back tight but didn’t say anything. She really did like him. She saw him as Deshaun and not as Rambo and that’s where she messed up. She judged him at first as this no good person but when she got to know him she was able to get past that and see him for who he really is. She respected him a lot. She could definitely see herself getting comfortable with him but she didn’t want to get hurt and that was one of her biggest fears.
“What you didn’t miss me too?” he asked.
“I did,” she smiled.
“Are you my girl?” he asked looking in her deep brown eyes.
“I am,” she smiled back.
He hugged her tighter and bent down a little to finally kiss her on her lips. This kiss was long overdue but they both enjoyed it. He wanted to wait and respect her like his mom said but she was his girl now so she was all his.
“Help me make this lemonade before my mama come in here and see us,” she said backing up off of him.
She took lemons, sugar, water, and the pitcher out. Her and Rambo started to make it as they enjoyed their time together. They heard their moms outside laughing real hard and that put an ease to both of them knowing that their moms were getting along.
