The fact that the word processing program on the PC hangs, the messenger app on the smartphone crashes, the Internet access at home is “down”, or the website of a provider is temporarily unavailable leads to annoyance but is more or less grudgingly accepted. The customer knows and expects that he always has the latest version of the service.
