TIME 2 to 3 days; 6 to 8 hours from high camp to summit, 3 to 4 hours for descent to high camp.

HIGH CAMP At the base of the Cowlitz Cleaver, just below Camp Muir, on the edge of the Nisqually Glacier (9800 feet); or at Camp Muir (10,080 feet).
