FILLING SPACE

Think about the spaces between your ascenders and descenders (known as ‘negative space’) and how you can use the letters to fill those spaces in more creative ways. It could be as simple as elongating the crossbar of a ‘t’ to fill out the space, or a cleverly joined set of letters, or exploiting the loops of a ‘y’.
