DEPRESSOR CATAPULT

This cut-rate catapult is perfect for mass production and outdoor use.

Step 1

Seven wooden depressors total—that’s how many you’ll need in this step. Stack them on top of one another as neatly as possible before rubber banding them together at the ends.

Gluing them in this step would also work, though it will take some time.

Step 2

Take two additional tongue depressors and rubber band them together at one end.

Next, take a plastic cap from a soft drink bottle and hot glue it to the end of one of the tongue depressors, opposite the end held together by rubber bands. You have just finished your catapult arm.

Note: If you substitute craft sticks for tongue depressors they will eventually snap in half because of their thickness. They will work, but not for long.
