Visualizing things that you really want to happen in your future does really work and here is why. Everything that is man-made once came from an idea be it cities, books, music, cars or fashion. Visualizing and materializing what’s not there yet is creativity and you can visualize things that aren’t there yet and then implement them into action. The brain already has an ability to bring the future into the present. That is a natural instinct to predict danger and is a genetic gift that is a result of many years of evolution. So use that to your advantage to create things in your life. Visualize the improved feature and create it by focusing on what it can be, what it might be and how it can be. And then, of course, practice it. Practice visualizing things in the future the way you want them to be.

When you receive impulses and ideas strike - take advantage of them right away. Don’t wait because the chances of you remembering them or recreating them later are slim. Seize the moment and record it or write it down, better yet tell or explain it to someone else. Make sure your devices are around like a phone, voice recorder, computer or pen and are ready to capture the idea fast, because a few minutes of looking for a pen or booting up the computer can cost you the idea.

I personally carry a voice recorder everywhere and bust it out the second an idea strikes. You know what they always say: “visualize yourself already in possession of the things you want.” Well the miracle of creativity is when you start with nothing and create something. It does work, simply because evolution gave our brain a gift, or evolved it to a point where it can see the future. Over the years it has evolved into imagination and creativity so this can be used in the sense that we can visualize the things we want and our brain attains it. After all, our minds are currently the most powerful instrument in the universe so use it to create the reality that you want.
