Chapter 16

Sixty-two-year-old housekeeper Aria Akina arrived. She was short and thin with graying hair and a stone-face expression that would kill a cat. JJ introduced her to Addison.

Unsmiling, Aria said, “You’re that singer, right?”

Addison grinned and replied, “Yeah, I’m that singer.”

“Nice to meet you.” She turned to JJ, “Okay, show me around.”

Addison and JJ quickly learned Aria was a lady of few words. She would arrive each day at 10:00 AM, clean the house, make lunch and dinner, and leave around 7:00 PM. That was it. At the end of the first week, Addison dubbed her The General.
