Everything was normal and copasetic for the time being, and it was good to finally have a peace of mind with no bullshit. Nique and I were in a great place. I swear every time I thought of her and what we created with love, my heart smiles. Never have I ever met a bitch that made me want to change my whole life around. I was in the streets since I was a jit, just fucking hoes, never really caring about their asses. When I met her, it’s like everything changed for the better. I was at the club making sure everything was in order for the party we were having tonight. I wasn’t attending, but it was Jacion’s and my responsibility to make sure that everything was A1. True enough, we had people who could do that shit for us, but its better when you can do it yourself and know for a fact that everything is grand. Tonight was the night that I did something special for Nique. I went out and copped the most expensive ring there was in Jared’s. Tonight, I was taking this relationship to the next level. Yes, she had a promise ring, but I was ready to walk that fuckin aisle. The more I thought about it, I smiled because this couldn’t be the same Tyler a year ago. Shit was out of my league, but I was ready for a change. Shit, I wasn’t getting any older, and I was more than happy with my girl, so why not make her my Mrs.? After I bought the ring, I went and bought all kinds of scented candles and some bubble bath that I knew she liked. I grabbed her a bad ass dress that fit tight, but not tight enough to where my son didn’t have any room. I went to her favorite restaurant and made reservations. I chose the VIP area, which overlooked all the other tables. They couldn’t see us, but we could see them. I wrote down her most favorite foods, and desserts, so that they could have it ready for us when we got there. I knew my baby liked to eat, and I didn’t mind fattening her up if it ensured that our son would be healthy. It was almost time for him to get here and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t ready, because a nigga damn sure was. Soon as I got home, I saw that she wasn’t home, which made it better for me to do what I had to do with no questions being thrown at me about what I had up my sleeve. I got in the shower and stayed in for damn near an hour before I got out and started getting dressed. I looked spiffy if I must say so myself, which I did. After all, I had on my Emporio Armani suit with a clean ass pair of shoes to match. We were definitely going to be the cleanest couple in the building.
