I woke up the next morning a little after ten, and I noticed that Heaven wasn’t in the bed with me. I knew that she wasn’t crazy enough to leave, so I went searching the suite for her. I noticed that the sliding door to the balcony was still wide open, so I went out there. I found her lying on her stomach on that hard ass ground outside. I shook my head at her and picked her up in my arms. She didn’t even flinch when I picked her up and laid her down in the bed.

Looking at all the whips and bruises on her body, I would say that I felt bad, but honestly, I didn’t because Heaven knew better. She knew who the fuck her husband was, and with that being said, she knew that I wasn’t wrapped too tight. Yesterday at the airport, I saw her smiling and having a conversation and shit with her sister’s husband, but I let that shit slide because when the nigga reached for a hug, she curved him by extending her hand for him to shake.

I taught Heaven a long time ago not to accept shit from a nigga, not even a damn compliment. I could have killed her ass last night when I saw that she let that nigga put his fuckin hands on her thigh and shit, and she just sitting there cheesing like a motha fuckin Cheshire cat. I was fucked up over Heaven, as you can see, and I would kill her ass before I let her leave me. I said it before and I’ll say it again, I have never in my life loved another woman as much as I loved my wife, not even my damn mama. My mom was still around, and just like old times, I pulled up on her whenever I got a chance. Heaven’s met my mom a handful of times, and each time, my mother always tells me that Heaven reminds her of herself when she was younger, and I didn’t know if that was a good or a bad thing.

After taking a quick shower and throwing on some clothes, I left the room. I knew that Heaven would be sleeping for the majority of the day, and that gave me some time to my thoughts. Ciara had been blowing my phone up all damn morning, and I was trying to avoid her for the sake of what had already taken place on this vacation between Heaven and I. I already knew that Ciara was going to start some bullshit that would get me hot, and I would take the shit out on my wife. Then again, something told me that it had to be urgent because Ciara knew better than to blow my damn phone up like she was crazy.

What Ciara and I had could be good if I stopped keeping my son a secret. Ciara wasn’t one of those ratchet ass baby mamas who blew my phone up because they wanted some dick or some money.
