The stands were packed at the Pee-Wee league football game. The families and fans usually show up, but today they were out in numbers. It was 30 seconds before halftime when Coach Sonny’s secret cell phone had rung. It had been quite some time since he and AJ another member from the Death Squad had returned to Florida to live somewhat normal lives.

“Yup,’’ he said answering the phone as his star running back broke for the sideline and turned up field for the end zone.

Sonny listened in silence as Benzino spoke. By the time the running back scored coach Sonny had left the field. Within the next two hours he’d linked up with AJ and they were in the air headed to NY. A similar call had been made to P in Virginia and the Death Squad was reassembled…almost.
