Cherry Pie

Cookie Cups

Sweet cherry pie filling gives these cookies a pop of color that looks great on the plate and tastes delicious!

Makes 2 dozen cookie cups

1 (16.5-ounce) roll refrigerated sugar-cookie dough

1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1–2 tablespoons milk

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a mini muffin pan with liners. Divide cookie dough in half and cut each half into 12 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place in muffin cups. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and press down center of each cookie to make an indentation. Fill centers with a spoonful of cherry pie filling. Return to oven and bake an additional 3 to 5 minutes. Mix the powdered sugar, butter, and milk together and drizzle over cooled cookies.
