I frown. Who else would Mom and Dad try to match Ariel and I to? AKS. Who... I feel every bit of blood drain from my body. No. Not possible. The bile surges right back.

"Who the fuck is AKS, sweetheart?" a silky, menacing voice asks quietly over my shoulder.

I squeak like a terrified mouse and look up into pitch-black eyes. Trey plucks the phone from my hand and swiftly ends the call, leaving me sputtering in shock. He just hung up on our luna.
