Leslie peeped out of the drapes suspiciously at the unfamiliar woman with the suitcase. What in the hell does she want? I’m not buying a damn thing. Leslie thought as she walked over to the door. “I’m sorry hun this isn’t a good time and I don’t have any money!” Leslie yelled through the door. “Oh no mam, I’m not selling anything.

I am with the Census Bureau and we are just out in the field today conducting a short survey on residents in this particular neighborhood. The state is required to know how many people live in your home and have you sign a form. It will only take a second.”

Leslie shook her head and cracked the door to see that the woman was a tiny Mexican woman who looked harmless. She also saw others across the street doing the same. Leslie opened the door and smiled. The woman smiled back and asked a few basic questions. “Alright we are all finished here.

I just need you to sign this form saying that your house has completed a Census check.” The woman bent down to pull the form from her suitcase and pulled out a small but deadly coral snake and placed it onto her pant leg without her even noticing. “Here it is, just sign here by the X.” After signing the form Leslie thanked the woman and shut the door.

The woman walked away with her suitcase in tow and met up with the others. Ever since Calvin’s death Leslie had been distant from her close friends and family. She had plans for her and Calvin’s future and they backfired. She lay on the couch watching TV trying to take her mind away from it all and drifted off to sleep.

About thirty minutes later Leslie stirred in her sleep. Calvin watch out! No wait bitch this was not the plan! Leslie’s eye’s popped open damn near bulging from their sockets. She panted rapidly as she struggled to catch her breath. But the more she tried the harder the strain. Leslie flipped around on the sofa like a fish out of water.

And after about two minutes of fighting against her own being her body fell lifeless. The room went cold and the lights became dim. Just like that Leslie was gone. You can say she won the battle she fought so hard to win. She had her man. Now her and Calvin could live a lifetime of eternal damnation paying for their sins.
