“You better recognize a pimp when you see one, girl. I’m that nigga in Baltimore City that all of these other hustlers want to be like,” Mark bragged to Catrina as they cruised down I-95 South en route to her apartment in Cherry Hill.
The song “Let Me Ride” by Young Buck was playing on the stereo of his black Hummer. He boosted up the volume and nodded his head to the beat.
Nigga, please stop sweatin’ yourself. You ain’t no balla. Your tired ass is just another dumb trick that I’ve been workin’ for his money. I’m the real pimp because once I gave you some of this good stuff between my legs, I made you run them pockets like you was my ho! She thought to herself.
Catrina had one of those bodies that would make any man turn over his fortune just to hit it one time. She had smooth dark skin like Naomi Campbell. She was tall and thick with model legs like Tyra Banks. She also an ass and a set of breasts like Vida Guerra. She was twenty years old, with a ninth-grade education and no job, but God blessed her with a body so fierce that she could get anything she wanted from a man. She knew how to wrap a man’s mind up in her spell so good that it was a shame. No man stood a chance once he got a glimpse of her in her birthday suit.
Mark had come up big since he got ran off of his drug strip by JR and Raynard. After word spread across Bmore that he was run off of his block, his name was mud in the streets. However, since he hooked up with his cousin Shakim from Far Rockaway in Queens, New York, he re-established himself in West Baltimore as a major figure. Shakim had a crew of rowdy New York niggas that he relocated to Baltimore and served as muscle for Mark. As a result, Mark was able to set up shop again. Mark ran one of the few successful drug crews in the city that Polo didn’t supply with cocaine and was too afraid to get his revenge on Raynard and JR, until Shakim vowed to have his back if they went to war. With some trigger-happy New Yorkers behind him, he figured that the time was right for him to get some payback. The move that he’d brought to Raynard the other day was only the beginning of what he had in store for his old rivals.
When they pulled up in front of her complex, Catrina climbed out of her truck and walked toward her apartment. A couple of local teenage boys were playing a pickup game on the basketball court across from her building. All of their heads turned at the same time to get a peek at Catrina’s ass as it jiggled in her tight Baby Phat shorts when she walked by.
“Damn, girl! You are phatter than a Philly cheese steak with extra meat!” one of the boys yelled.
