With that acknowledgment, he made love with Kelsey, thrilling at her hushed cries of “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Time slowed as his heart rate accelerated. A seething, roiling tension filled him, turning into a need so raw and primal he wanted to howl. When he heard and saw and felt her reach that same ragged crest and then spike to that elemental pinnacle of rapture, he took those last few strokes and experienced the final quivers of exquisite pleasure.
