Chris and I were getting ready for bed. I was tired but Chris laid back and his mind was running a mile a minute. I wanted to know what was on his mind. Plus I wanted to tell him what I found out about Tiffany.

“What’s wrong baby?” I asked and l ie aid d down next to him.

“I just can’t see myself as Aaron’s dad. Am I wrong for that?”

“Well you just met him baby and you’re already trying to make up for lost time.”

“I know but when he called someone else his daddy that shit tripped me out.”

“That was awkward.”

“Hell yeah and for some reason I know Aaron knows something more. I just can’t find myself forcing information out of a three year old.”

“What do you mean he knows more?”

“You know when they say to ask little kids question if you really wanna know the truth about something.”

“Oh yeah , h . H e was persistent about calling that man his dad. What was even more weird was the fact the he kept his head down like he was dodging us.”

“I didn’t see that shit I was trynna get Aaron.”

“Oh you didn’t? I kept my eyes on him. He got out the way quick as hell and kept his head down.”

“What the fuck?”

“Yeah, but baby I have to tell you something.”

“Wassup ma?”

“I did a background check on Tiffany.”

“And what did you find?”

“She was arrested for drug trafficking and fraud. You need to keep your eyes on her babe.”

“I will baby thanks for having ya ’ man s back.”

“Of course baby.”

“Mo’ I need you to have my babies.”

“I want your babies too babe.”

“No I’m for real , . l L ooking at you and Aaron today just wanted me to knock yo ’ little ass up , . ” I laughed.

“All with time.”

“I don’t wanna wait anymore.”

“Let ’ s just see what happens baby. We just got together and I wanna be selfish and spend all of the time I could possibly have with you alone.”

“Alright Mo’ don’t say shit when you find out your pregnant.”

“Alright baby go to sleep , . ” I said placing a kiss on his lips then turning off the lamp.

The next morning I woke up and Chris wasn’t in bed. I got up and took care of my hygiene. He promised that today we would go pick up our Christmas tree. I couldn’t wait to decorate the house. I went to go search for Chris and he was in his office on the phone. He looked like he was in serious argument with someone.

“I don’t give a fuck Tiffany you kept me away from him for three years now you trying to hide him away again?” Chris shouted into the phone. Great, there was baby mama drama already. “You should be thankful that Aaron likes Monique and that she treats him good. As a matter of fact don’t speak up on my girl. You need get yo ’ priorities straight . Monique lives here and when Aaron comes over Monique will be around.
