I was excited to go shopping and spend the ten thousand dollars Juan left on the dresser for me. This would be the first time I could actually go in the mall and buy whatever I wanted. I could get used to this. I changed into some sweats, grabbed the keys, and headed out. The all-white Porsche was sitting so pretty and would be sitting even prettier with me inside. I pulled out and was on my way to the Lenox Mall.

I shopped and bought a ton of Victoria’s Secret’s Pink clothing. I saw a nail shop by the name of Laina’s Resort and Spa. I decided to stop by for a message, mani and pedi. It was much needed. I didn’t know why, but the name Laina sounded real familiar. I sat down and waited to be assisted. To my surprise, it was my long lost homegirl Alaina from high school. She, Kim and I were really close friends and high school but she moved after graduation and never kept in touch for some reason.

“Keyshia?” she said, looking like she’d seen a ghost.

“I know that ain’t Miss Alaina,” I said. “Girl, where on earth have you been and how have you been?”

“I’ve been good,” she said, looking around to see if someone was watching us.

“Are you looking for someone?” I asked.

“Oh, no. Are you out shopping alone or are you with someone?” she asked.

“Oh. I’m all by myself. Girl.” I said. “So how are you? I know you are as good married by now,” I teased.

“No, actually me and Jason broke up a while ago.”

“Well, Dezmond and I are definitely not screwing around anymore. I’m actually dating someone else.”

“What?” she said, surprised. “Keyshia is over Dezmond? I have got to be hearing things,” she joked.

“No, girl. I’m for real, for real. I just found out that Kim is in love with him and has been fucking him since I don’t know when. We also got into a little brawl the other day. It was crazy.”

Alaina’s facial expression went from cheerful to complete fear. It was like I’d mentioned a serial killer.

“What’s wrong, Laina? Sounds like I said something that startled you.”

“Listen, I’m going to tell you this because I care about you, Keyshia. The real reason I left and stayed away for a while was because of Kim. She started claiming to love Jason and started threatening me. She tried to run me off of the highway and I almost lost my life. It was so bad that I was in fear for my life. I couldn’t take the harassment and stalking. She was really out to kill me. If I were you, I would be really careful, Keyshia. She is dangerous.”

That information was beyond shocking. Kim was actually an undercover lunatic. I wondered what was causing her to act so evil. “Thanks for that information, girl. I’ll have to watch my back more. We have to meet up and go out for lunch sometime this week,” I said.

“Okay, well, let me know when your available.
