Once we passed Bridgette’s house, we turned around and cruised back up the street. There was a park located across the street from Bridgette’s house, so Quick backed into the park and parked near a dumpster. Dee told us that Bridgette and her friend would be driving a white Jeep Cherokee, so that’s what we were on the lookout for. Quick killed the lights and deadened the engine. From our vantage point, we could see any car coming or going and we also had a clear view of Bridgette’s house.

For what seemed like an eternity, the only sounds that could be heard were the pity-pat of rain drops on the Chevy’s roof and the steady breathing of four money-thirsty young niggas.
