Figure 7-10 shows the completed mounting feet and the centerline information for the holes projected to the top view. The intersection in the center of the part indicates the location of the counter-bored holes, while the intersection of the projected lines and the edges of the main body of the base indicates the starting location of the tapped holes. If these holes are to be shown in the top view, the detail developed in the front view can be copied to these locations.

The completed top view is shown in Figure 7-11. The entire view was created without a single measurement, and because it was projected from two adjacent views, there is no question of accuracy. Should an error have been encountered, the result would have been obvious in this new view.
