When You Are ‘Blue’

If life’s sky is grey and you feel ‘blue’, sore as a boil, or just discouraged with life’s problems;

Or, if disheartened because “art is long and time is fleeting and the end far out of sight”;

Or, restlessness is consuming you, or disappointment is gnawing at your vitals, or you are embittered by unrealised ambition;

Or, life situations are beyond endurance and impossible, or social thought is hostile; and you feel “What is the use!”

What should you do?

Stop. Realise that you are a victim and not a victor - yet that glad victory is within reach. The little demons, sapping your life-force, may be destroyed.
