After a small breakfast, I make my way downstairs to my room. I check inside and Mark is already in here with the TV on and playing with our familiars.

“Good morning, how was your night, babe?” He gets up and gives me a kiss on my temple.

“It was great.” I kiss him back and give him a small smile. I say hello to the babies and make my way to my closet. “What should I wear tonight?” He shoos me out of the way and picks out a short, black lace dress and some white pumps and puts them on my bed.

“There, all done. Now come shower with me.” We head to the shower and he washes me down before fucking me against the tile. “There, I feel better now.” He kisses my head and gets dressed in the living room, picking up his clothes from his bag. “I’m about to head out, need anything from town?” I shake my head and get dressed in my room in some pajamas.

“Nope, I’m all set for another few weeks, at least.” I give him a kiss goodbye and settle down in on the couch and mentally talk to Lola and Polly for a bit. Marie fell asleep after Mark left, so I’m passing the time. Ross sent me a text and asked for me to be ready at the drive at nine tonight, so I have several more hours to relax. I head into the kitchen and prepare a light meal of baked chicken, vegetables, and rice. I put it in the fridge and set a reminder on my phone to throw it in the oven at six. I grab my Kindle and read another murder book and take a nap.

I wake up to my alarm and put my food in the oven and put the TV on for some background noise. I decide to be the bigger person and send a text to Amelie.

~Hey, we missed you yesterday! I was wondering if you’d like to set up a nail appointment with me for next weekend so we can get to know each other?~

I set my phone down and set out accessories to match my outfit. Luckily the dress Mark picked has pockets, so I’ll just throw my ID and some cash for the night. I head to the bathroom and curl my hair with a flick of my fingers, and do the same with some sultry, dark makeup. I decide on a dark red lipstick to finish it off and take the food out of the oven. I eat, feed the familiars and get them ready for the night.

Mark walks in through the door, “Hey, babe, did you have a relaxing day?” He grabs my phone when my reminder goes off that lets me know I have a text. “Ah, Amelie replied to you, want me to read it?” I look over and see that she just replied with ‘sure’. I shrug it off and reply for her to pick the time and place and I’ll call in the morning for an appointment.
