Chapter 14

Abby remembered feeling the pounding of his heart, then the sensation of his soft lips on hers. Satisfying her desire, but leaving her with more questions. Why had he jumped in after her, and why did he keep apologizing? What was the note of anguish in his tone? What did it mean? But she would let those questions wait. She removed his wet shirt. He removed the strap of her swimsuit.

“Wait,” she said.

“Why?”

“I should go first. I have a lot more to remove than you do.”

“Then you need to hurry up,” Jason said, removing the other strap.

She unbuttoned his shirt. “Are you always this impatient?”

“No. Once I have you naked, I plan to take my time.”

She unzipped his jeans. “I don’t believe you.”

“When this is over, you will.” He slid off her swimsuit, his hands hot against her skin. Soon his warm, wet flesh lay over hers. She arched into him. He buried his face in her neck, his breath hot against her skin when he spoke. “Beautiful.”

“I didn’t bring anything,” she whispered.

“I didn’t expect you to.”

“I mean, I didn’t expect for this to happen.”

“The moment I saw you, this is all I’ve thought about.”

Abby shook her head. “Jason, that’s not what I mean.”

He frowned. “Then what is it?”

She glanced down below his waist, then met his eyes again. “I’m ready to make his acquaintance, but not without an escort.”

Jason’s frown increased. “Is this some sort of riddle?”

Abby wrapped her hand around his penis. “I don’t mind just using my hand if you want, until we can do this another time.”

He groaned. “Don’t keep doing that. I don’t want to come unless I’m inside you.”

“But that can’t be.”

“Why not?”

“You really don’t know what I’m talking about?”

Jason closed his eyes and grit his teeth. “I can barely put words together when you’re holding me like that, let alone follow this conversation.”

“Do you have condoms?”

“Why didn’t you just say that before?”

“I was trying to be delicate.”

Jason sent a significant glance at her hand, and the corner of his mouth kicked up in a grin. “You call that being delicate?”

She let him go. “You weren’t getting the hint.”

“If you expect me to think, don’t distract me like that.” He stood and went to a panel in the wall.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

“Calling to get me some condoms.”

Abby rushed over and grabbed his hand. “You can’t do that!”

“Why not?”

“Because we’re naked.”

“I’ll open the door a crack. I’ll make sure he doesn’t see you.”

“It’s not right.”

“What’s not right about it? I’ll tell him to bring a towel, too, if you want?”

“No, then he’ll know what we’re doing.”

“Relax, I pay him well to be discreet.”

“Can’t we just go to your room?”

He sighed. “Okay, you wait here.” Before she could stop him, he left the room.

Abby squeezed her eyes closed. She couldn’t believe he’d left the room totally naked. If his staff wondered what he was doing before, they wouldn’t wonder now. But it was his house, and he had the right to do whatever he wanted.
