Ryder

Kiley has a death grip on me as we ride back to her house. My mind is going a mile a minute, and all that I can think of is Jessie’s comment.

Fuck! She did look like every man’s wet dream when she walked out of that damn school. Hell, she looked like every fucking fantasy I’ve ever had of her. Why the fuck do they have her wearing that at school? I mean, yeah, I saw what the other girls were wearing, but they didn’t look anywhere as good as she did.

This is too much for me to think about right now, and to top it off, there’s the Knights telling her not to ride her dirt bike. Kiley is pissed.

She’s formed a bond with them in the short period of time that she’s spent with them. Not that it bothers me—if she’s happy, then I’m happy. I’m gonna have to address it with her; I’m just gonna have to be easy with her when I do.

When we pull up to her house, she jumps off my bike and stomps inside. Oh yeah, she’s pissed. I turn as I notice Dameon’s Jeep pull in behind me, followed by my brother’s.

“Where did Kiley go?” Dameon asks, looking around. I can see the worry in his eyes.

“She’s inside. She’s a little pissed off right now,” I tell him.

Alex laughs. “A little? You dumbasses just told her she couldn’t do something—I’d say she’s a little more than pissed.”

I can tell Dante is dying to talk to her, and I nod my head at him. “Go ahead, go in.”

He looks at me as if to ask if I’m sure, and I nod again. He just nods back and heads inside. Alex and Jessie both look at me like I’m crazy.

“Um Ryder, can I talk to you for a second?” Alex pulls me to the side, and I sigh. “Is there a reason you just sent in another guy to comfort your girl?” He gives me his older brother look, and I shake my head. This is not a conversation I want to have with my brothers.

“Kiley has formed a bond with them, and right now she’s upset with Dante. He’s the one that has to fix things with her, not me. We all know that Kiley doesn’t trust easily, and when she lets someone in, it’s a big deal. Well, she let these guys in, and I have to accept that. I love her—you guys know that—and if I have to share her with them, I will.”

Jessie raises his eyebrows at me. “Share her? Dude, do you think she feels that way about them?”

I sigh and run my fingers through my hair. “I’ve seen the way they look at her and act around her. I may have only seen it a couple of times when I’ve been here, but yeah, they’ve got strong feelings for her. You know how addictive she is, how no one can resist her. I’ve also seen how protective they are when I’m on facetime with her.
