Enthusiastic Discipleship

Do your work with enthusiasm. Work as if you were serving the Lord, not as if you were serving only men and women.

With whom will you choose to walk today? Will you walk with shortsighted people who honor the ways of the world, or will you walk with the Son of God? Jesus walks with you. Are you walking with Him? Hopefully, you will choose to walk with Him today and every day of your life.

Jesus has called upon believers of every generation (and that includes you) to follow in His footsteps. And God’s Word promises that when you follow in Christ’s footsteps, you will learn how to live freely and lightly (Matthew 11:28-30).

Jesus doesn’t want you to be a run-of-the-mill, follow-the-crowd kind of person. Jesus wants you to be a “new creation” through Him. And that’s exactly what you should want for yourself, too. Jesus deserves your extreme enthusiasm; the world deserves it; and you deserve the experience of sharing it.
