Maharishi Mahesh Yogi claims that the practice by the many followers worldwide of his brand of Hindu Yoga, which he calls Transcendental Meditation (TM), is bringing peace to the world. "Ideal communities" of perfect peace are being established by the TM movement around the world. Maharishi's followers now credit their master and TM with bringing about the dramatic transformations sweeping Eastern Europe and the end of the Cold War. Who is to say that they are wrong? Indeed, scientific verification of Maharishi's claims has allegedly been made by numerous reputable university professors and scientists.
