The same phenomenon is observed for crude oil: their oxygen and nitrogen compounds – methylquinolines – and probably also cholesterol derivatives, are made by living organisms. This takes place during their life, before they get temporarily lost from the cycle of life. The history of hydrocarbonates and their parts are still unknown to us, but their basis is created by living matter. Lignins of coal, and methylquinolines of crude oil, are insignificant in mass when they are still part of an organism, but eventually they gather in great quantities in vadose or phreatic carbon minerals in the form of derivatives.
