Traditional Neapolitan-style pizza is round, about the size of a dinner plate, with a fairly thick rim of crust surrounding a very thin crust. The rim makes it easier to hold a slice of pizza as well as keeping the toppings in place during baking. It is ideally baked in a very hot wood-fired oven, at temperatures approaching 900°F (482°C), and the rim will show the classic bit of charring. It bakes very quickly at this temperature; I have baked these pizzas in my wood-fired oven in as little as 90 seconds.
