“You still love the guy? Is that another reason you stay?”

Robert averted looking at Cleve for a split second.

He forced himself to intently gaze into the man’s soft, brown eyes. “I’ll always love him, but he cheated on me. I can never forgive that. Not after the fact that we were engaged.”

Cleve grinned widely. His teeth were perfectly smooth and straight. It was one more thing on him that was beautiful. “Oh? Marriage-minded are we? Didn’t think most of you Americans went for that anymore.”

Robert cleared his throat. “It was more symbolic than anything. I wanted him to prove he could commit to me, and finally be with me. Guess he couldn’t.”

“So he’s been your only experience then?”

Robert’s face blushed as his head dropped. “Yeah, and most of our interaction was just talk.”

Cleve took Robert’s hand into his. “Wanting to gain some more experience, then, eh?”

“Yes.” He answered almost inaudibly. He looked at his companion’s body for a moment. Their hands released and Robert groped Cleve’s muscular arms.
