Inez Haynes Irwin in her thirties (ca. 1905–1910). Included in a scrapbook Heterodoxy members gave Marie Jenney Howe in 1920. Irwin inscribed: “Here’s to Marie who in the midst of this strange universe and this cold city created a little world for us; a little world in which we could laugh and play; talk and make friends.”
