Tony. I couldn’t get that asshole off my mind, even with him being the last thing I wanted to think about. My gut told me I needed to keep an eye on him. I generally tried to listen to my gut. It wasn’t often wrong, considering those gut feelings were usually my bear, keeping me in line and ahead of situations.

I didn’t like how he kept trying to pop up and tell Alexis what to do with her life, and how to live it. Especially since it seemed like he still wanted to be a major part of her life. Which, in my opinion, was double fucked seeing as how he was marrying Lex’s sister. He’d let her go, then thrust himself back in the picture with Bridget. It was borderline psycho. Was he just trying to keep control over his ex? That wasn’t going to fly.

All of my suspicions led me to schedule a meeting with Rouge. It was time to get some help with this guy and what was the point of being in a clan like mine if I couldn’t get a little assistance now and again? I wanted to see what else we could do to keep tabs on him.

Rogue and I met up at the clubhouse for lunch around noon. Rogue walked in carrying a giant bag full of burritos from a Mexican joint in town. Nice. The smell reached me before he did, and my stomach rumbled.

"Hope you like steak burritos, bro," he said as he sat down with me.

I grinned and gladly took the offered wrapped food. "Sure dude, I’m freaking starving.” I ripped it open and took a big bite, not waiting to dig in on the conversation too. “So,” I said around the food, which was amazing, “about this guy messing with Lex?"

Rogue pulled a foil wrapped burrito out for himself and sighed deeply. "Man, I am staying away from human women. Between you and Hutch and Grizz? It seems like they are a lot of work, and trouble. I’ve never been this busy." He snarled his lip as he opened a packet of hot sauce.

I threw my head back and laughed. It did seem like everyone in the clan who started dating humans had found themselves in some type of shit or another. But it was totally freaking worth it so far. Just being around Alexis was a reward.

Rogue went on. "If I start making googly eyes at some human chick please talk me out of it. Turn my head toward some hot shifter lady and save me some grief."

Taking a bite of my food I said, "I’ll try to keep that in mind. But for real, this Tony dude?"

Rogue raised his eyebrows tilted his head back and forth, thinking.

"I think I can maybe hack his phone account, try to see what kind of calls he’s making and whatnot. That could help a little, to keep tabs on him. I mean if it starts to look really crazy we could get the guys together and put a watch on Alexis.
