(In this image we continue our testing by moving the red probe to the negative side connector. We tested each side of the connector and the results were the same on either side. When the circuit is ON there was a 0 volt reading on the negative side. When the intermittent cuts the circuit OFF, the meter reading jumped up to 12 volts. Then when the circuit turns back ON, the meter drops back down to the normal 0 volt reading. These results tell us that the problem is still somewhere ahead in the rest of the negative side circuit.)

Since the voltage reading hasn’t stop spiking up during the intermittent, we are still not near the source of the problem. So far based on the test results we have gathered, we know that everything up to the negative side connector is good. The only thing left to test now is the rest of the wiring from the negative side connector to the battery terminal on the negative side of the battery. Let us continue our testing now and see what else we find out about this intermittent problem..
