Chapter 9

“Kez, my man. What do I owe the pleasure of this call?” Lupe asked Kez in his thick Colombian accent.

“I need the jet.” Kez said into the phone and Lupe hung up. Kez then hung up and called Kee. He was ready to get this over and done with.

“Yeah?” Kee answered.

“I already talked to Lupe. You already know the deal. We need to be ready in two hours.” he told him and then hung up the phone.

“Brooke,” he called out to Brooke.

“Yes?” she answered. She came into their bedroom looking like a goddess. Her hair was braided around in a circle, mimicking a halo. She wore a white robe with white fluffy socks on her feet.

“What are you doing baby?”

“I was in there making some sugar scrub. It smells soooo good baby.” Brooke said as she joined Kez on his couch after pecking him on the lips.

“The fuck is sugar scrub,” he asked.

“It’s this amazing scrub that you can use almost anywhere on your body. It’s natural and so beneficial. I mean it’s packed with so many good things for your skin. It’s very moisturizing and…”

“Baby. Okay. I wasn’t trying to get the full run down.” Kez laughed and Brooke punched him in the arm. He always talked about how much she liked to talk. She could talk to him for hours and never stop to break. He thought it was both cute and annoying.

“Shut up.”

“Baby we’ve got to get you some friends.” He told her continuing to laugh.

“You are my friend. You’re stuck with me.” She stuck out her tongue like the big kid that she was.

“I see!” he told her pointing at her stomach.

“Real funny. You know that you love me.”

“Yeah whatever. Aye listen up though. I’m about to go on that trip to Colombia.” Brooke immediately tensed.

“Calm down. I’ll only be gone for a few days,” he lied.

“Kez, I don’t want you leaving.”

“But I have to,” he told her. “Akbar will be here with you to make sure that everything is okay. You’ll be good mamas.”

“But do you really have to?” she whined. Kez didn’t feel like the back and forth, so he decided to dick her down in order to shut her up. He knew that it was a low blow to use his sex as a weapon at the time, but he didn’t care. Brooke could be a pain in the ass when things didn’t go her way. Kez had spoiled her, and the only sure way to get her to obey was by dropping his load off in her. The couple went at it for over forty five minutes. Brooke drifted to sleep afterwards, because Kez had worked her love button with no remorse. Once Kez was certain that Brooke was asleep, he went and gathered deeds, titles, bank account information and every other important document that he thought that Brooke would need in the event of his death. He wasn’t claiming it, but he knew that there was always a possibility that he wouldn’t return.
