Project 4: Driving a tri-colour LED

In this project we are going to drive a tri-colour Red/Green/Blue (RGB) LED and control the brightness of each of the colours from the keyboard. By mixing these colours we should be able to get a wide range of shades.

The RGB LED that we use in this project is a common anode one. What this means is that the anode (+ve) goes up to the supply voltage and the three other pins are taken to 0V for the respective LEDs to light up. With LEDs it is always important to use a current limiting resistor.
