Chapter Sixteen

Faithe

“Shit,” I groaned as I tried my damn hardest to reach into my pocket. I had to get to my phone because it felt as if my life was slipping away from me in a matter of seconds. I finally got my phone from my pocket and dialed Shane’s number. Things were still rocky between us, but I prayed his answered his damn phone. “What?” he asked into the phone.

“Sh… Shane, I need you…”

“What? What are you talking about Fai?”

“I’m at Trin’s house. Please get here,” I said before hanging up the phone.

I laid there in the middle of the doorway trying to figure out how the hell Yung knew where Ron stayed. As far as I knew, only a few people knew about this house. Then my mind wondered to Trinity and Royalty. I really hoped they were okay. I prayed to God that nothing happened to them while they were with him.

I don’t know how long I was laying on the ground, but I was just glad I was still alive and breathing. “Fai, Faithe! Are you okay?” I heard Street yell. I tried to pick my head up to see where he was at, but I couldn’t. It felt as if a ton of bricks were holding it down. “Are you okay?” he asked again before coming into view.

“No, I need to get to the hospital.”

“Alright ma, don’t trip. I’ma get you there,” he said as he lifted me up and carried me to a car.

“Yo’, where Trin and the girls?” I heard Ron ask as he walked up to me and Street.

“He got Trin and RoRo. I don’t know where Dymond is at,” I managed to say.

“Who got them?” Street asked me as Ron took off running towards the house.

“Yung,” I said before everything went dark around me.

When I woke up, I was hooked up to all kind of damn IV’s and shit. I tried to snatch them off, but somebody placed their hands on me and stopped me. I looked around and saw Shane standing there with a smile on his face. “Hey,” I said hoarsely.

“How are you feeling?”

“I’m feeling better, how long have I been out? Did y’all find the girls?” I asked him.

“You’ve been out for two weeks. Dymond was upstairs in her room. She told me and Ron that Trinity made her go upstairs. Trinity and Royalty still missing.”

“I got to get out of here. I need to help y’all find my best friend and god child,” I said trying to get out the bed.

“Chill ma. You not going nowhere. Yo’ ass just had a surgery done a few days ago. I’m sure you’re still in pain.”

As soon as he said that, my stomach started hurting. “You okay? I’m going to get your nurse so that you can get some medicine or something,” he said, getting up before I could tell him anything else. He walked out the door. A few seconds later, he walked back in with a nurse, who was smiling a little too much for me.
