◁ COOKIES AND CREAM COOKIE CAKE

It’s a cookie within a cookie! This extra-large cookie cake is studded with crushed Oreo cookies for double the cookie pleasure. Eat it all by yourself or split it with a loved one!

1 /2 cup (120 ml) full-fat vanilla ice cream, melted

1 /2 cup (80 g) White Cake Mix , sifted (see here )

2 Oreo cookies, crushed by hand into small pieces

2 tablespoons (1 ounce/28 g) unsalted butter, melted

1 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small round baking dish that measures 5 to 5 1 /2 inches (12.7 cm to 14 cm) in diameter and at least 2 inches (5 cm) tall.

2 Pour melted ice cream into bottom of dish. Sift in cake mix.

3 Scatter crushed Oreos over cake mix. Starting at the center, pour melted butter across top.

4 Bake for approximately 25–30 minutes. About 20 minutes in, quickly check the cake. Use a spatula or large spoon to moisten any uncooked cake mix, by spreading from wet sections next to it. Do not worry if this breaks the surface of the cake. Let the cake continue to bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, until the surface is golden brown.

5 Let cake cool for about 10 minutes before digging in. If desired, serve with a scoop of your favorite ice cream and/or any of the toppings provided from here to here .
