Striker hadn’t given her much information on how he anticipated the next few days to go, but he had let her know it would be Byron, Mary, his two brothers and Dash’s other half, Amelia. Zane was now going to be the only Livingstone brother without a partner, and it had been amusing Striker to no end.

Audrey folded her jeans and sweaters before placing them on the end of her bed. She could hear Striker down the hall in his room, but it wasn’t long before he emerged at the door of hers and knocked lightly.

“Hey,” he said.

“Come in,” she smiled, turning to let her eyes drink him in.

Damn, he looked good. She was actually a little nervous being in such tight quarters with him now, after the other night. She was afraid she might lose control and just jump him. He looked too good. All darkness and brooding angst mixed in with his signature flirty nature. He had a lovely looking bag in his hand, it was big and leather and he stepped forward holding it out in front of him.

“Well, you deserve lovely,” he said, knowingly.

She smiled up at him and clutched it to her chest.

“No pressure on me then for what I’m going to get you for Christmas,” she laughed.

“You don’t need to get me anything,” he waved her comment away.

“Don’t be silly, if you’ve given me this and you’re saying there’s more to come on Christmas Day, of course I’m getting you something.”

“You being there with me, is gift enough,” he said, as he moved closer and brushed her hair behind her ear and tilted her chin up so their eyes met.

She could get lost in those fiery eyes every time, and as he cupped her cheek with his hot hand, she closed her own to give herself over to his kiss.

His lips were so powerful, and every time they met with hers, they took her breath away. She melted into his big arms and ran her hands through his hair, locking her wrists behind his neck as she stood up on her tiptoes.

As their lips broke apart and she gazed at him, she knew how right this all felt. She had never felt so settled or comfortable with another person, and to think that it was him, was quite frankly insane. She pulled herself away. She still had her reservations though. How could
