The pitch is very high on the beginnings of the sentences: “He’s” in “He’s a great writer” and “I” in “I think” in (14); “He’s” in (16) “He’s really good.” The pitch is very low on the emphasized words at the ends of the sentences: “great writer” and “best writers” in (14); “good” in (16).
