Exercise 6: Draw yourself. Many will say they are not good at drawing. No matter the result, the purpose of the exercise is to better understand the deeper parts of your personality to turn everything negative in positive. So, draw your image and momentarily close the book. If the drawing of your self-image is incomplete in some anatomical part, we can imagine that the missing or badly drawn part is a part that you don’t consider in a positive way. For example, if you can’t draw your eyes, ask yourself if there are situations right now that you don’t want to see. If you can’t draw your legs, ask yourself if the problem is in the need to rest or in the uncertainty of taking a certain step in your life or not. As you are not a professional psychologist, you will probably not be able to give a precise meaning to these symbolism, but you will certainly be able to take inspiration for your reflections in order to improve the relationship you have with your image and with the deeper parts of yourself.

Exercise 7: Draw an image of yourself in perfect shape, with a beautiful smile, as a proud person. This new image, not necessarily drawn, but at least imagined in detail, will have to replace the previously drawn image in your mind. If you can often think about this new image, you’ll be able to create a “virtuous circle” that will lead you to resemble, even in reality, this desired image.
